San Albino was first built in 1852 of mud and logs, dedicated to Saint Albinus of Angers. It began under Mexican authority and passed to the United States with the Gadsden Purchase. The present brick church dates from the early 1900s, and the Holy See made it a minor basilica in 2008.
Daily Masses are held in Spanish and English.
